Role Description
This pivotal role has overall responsibility for leading and managing finance transformation projects within Israel, focusing on digital innovation, process optimization, standardization, and strategic alignment within the financial operations in Israel.
This role requires a deep understanding of both the financial and technological landscapes to drive impactful change.
The scope of this role includes the plant FP&A, controlling and transactional finance processes of the Neot Hovav, Beer Sheva and Ashdod sites of the newly combined ADAMA Agriculture Solutions. This scope does not include the processes of the corporate finance teams in Airport City.
Daily Activities And Responsibilities
Identify, design, and manage end-to-end finance transformation projects across FP& A, controlling and transaction finance operations, from planning to implementation and post-go-live support.
Conduct gap analysis and define business requirements for process improvement.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement new systems and enhancements to existing platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of new technologies.
Map and document existing finance processes.
Oversee the implementation of automation tools to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
Monitor and manage project risks, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
Plan and coordinate workstreams, build work plans and manage resources effectively.
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in the teams.
Mange project budgets and timelines, ensuring on time and on budget delivery.
Report regularly on project progress, challenges, and achievements.
Reporting Line and Location:
This position reports directly to the Israel Head of Finance and can be located in Ashdod or Beer Sheva.
This role has the following key interfaces
Senior Management: Regularly update on project progress, challenges, and outcomes.
Finance Teams: Collaborate to ensure project solutions meet operational needs and enhance financial reporting accuracy.
IT Department: Partner to implement technological solutions and ensure system compatibility.
External Consultants and Vendors: Coordinate with external parties for specialized expertise and resources.
Global Corporate Finance Team: Coordinate transformation initiatives across the entire group to ensure alignment of standards, processes and strategic objectives.
Capabilities & Skills
CPA with at least 8 years of experience in finance, controlling, and accounting role.
Proven experience in leading finance transformation initiatives and managing mid-large scale, complex projects (PMO level).
Strong problem-solving skills.
Background and experience in both financial and technological environments.
Ability to design, plan and coordinate solutions for multi-disciplinary teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, including stakeholder engagement.
Experience working with task and project management platforms.
Technological proficiency with experience in implementing digital tools.
Ability to work cross-functionally and generate buy-in.
Fluent English and Hebrew written and spoken, communicate effectively in a global corporate environment.
